Kathryn Dixon was born and raised in South Carolina. An activity very close to her heart is volunteering as a puppy raiser for the Guide Dog Foundation. She and her husband are currently fostering Lily, a yellow lab. You basically pay for an add

I wanted to buy a book that will teach me something new but instead paid for solicitation to pay more money for seminars, coaching etc...., I guess that's where the money is.
The reviews are excellent and it's very deceiving (calling it "bible" together with the reviews make you think that you will get pure information).

Sorry But You Can Skip This One!

Unfortunately this is not the bible of wholesaling. Lots of generalities and very little, or any, specifics. Example: When Than writes about mailing lists to use in your direct mail campaigns he never tells us where to secure these lists. And so it goes throughout the book. For $18 is a skip. Where do I get a refund?

A fantastic drama. Tickles the brain as well as your fancy.

This wonderful play is ultimately entertaining while remaining completely unafraid to challengethe audience. Eliot explores the inner motives and masks that people wear while keeping you smiling the whole while. Be careful though; while you may be delighted the whole while, Eliot is busy weaving a tale that truly gets right down into everyones personal hells. Truly a drama that only he could deliver. Highly recommended.

Wonderful!

I am personally not a fan of Eliot, due to the fact that I, most unfortunately, started off with "The Wasteland", which is, as I am sure anyone reading this review will know, is not exactly an easy read, especially at age 12. However, "The Cocktail Party" seems to grasp me still, days after I have finished reading it. It is such a witty, humorous comedy that mocks the modern ages, and pretty much everyone who seems to be a part of this insane, chaotic world (at least as I understood it). I recommend this for anyone looking a good book to do a book report on, or someone looking for the meaning of life and/or in need of serious 'ponder' over the universe in a philosophical, poetic, aesthetic way.

Survival kit in a schizophrenic society

In a world of appearances, a new species of peace-makers has been invented. The priest of old has disappeared. The psychiatrist has replaced him. He is there to listen to secrets, to sort out situations and to propose solutions to human problems. The very few that are worth it can become the saints of today, going to foreign desolate countries and helping people out of their difficulties, fighting poverty and diseases, bringing the christian faith to pagan people, living in suffering and dire hardship. The others are helped to adapt to our society, to be successful in this society without feeling the remorse or the fear that come along with it. They just become adaptable, supple enough to fit in a deeply dishumanized society. The psychiatrist is the go-between for such people.
This play is surrealistic and yet perfectly descriptive of reality. It is full of a new type of poetry, his poetry of love and hate, of a new type of drama, his drama of conflict-solving. T. S. Eliot manages to shift from the most superficial bourgeois drama to the deepest and serenest tragedy turned comedy. The path of these people is tragic in a way, but it ends in beauty or at least in harmony.
Yet I think T.S. Eliot would have been better inspired if he had gotten away from this bourgeois aristocratic society that is nothing but vain cocktail parties and superfluous appearances. The great poet he is could have been a better playwright.

Wonderful Reading! I'm in full-blown book-love! I am so happy I got to read this story! Great debut!
So incredibly unexpected and fabulously erotic! A great cast of smart, endearing, funny characters and a ton of mind-blowing sexy times! I think I have a bit of a girl crush on Charlotte, aka Charlie. She's refreshingly honest, a fun friend and a really cute hentai-like yoga girl! Charlie and James couldn't be more different from each other, true opposites in every way, but they have a special spark of instant connection that's so intense but so vulnerable at the same time that actually makes them perfect for each other because neither are as they seem on the outside... Their push and pull drama and all that super steamy role play was so edgy! It's kind of intoxicating! I'm still fanning myself!
Charlie is this sweet and sassy Aussie, with a really kinky twist inside, while James is a rich, charming executive with model good looks and control issues... She's quick witted, kind and learning to be a bold new girl and he's so angsty, dominating and newly discovering how to trust...I have to just say this ...I'm so hooked on James' hot dirty-talkin' Texas twang...made me blush..a lot!
James and Charlotte become ensnared, enamored, even a little addicted to each other, until real feelings wiggle in to the mix and mucks it all up... The title is so fitting because I felt all the many degrees of control each of them exert over each other and over themselves throughout the whole story right up to the very end...and also as James and Charlie work out the root of their problems and get their hearts aligned with their true desires ...and what a very romantic ending... Loved it! A brilliant and charming read that I highly recommend for any one looking for a love story full of surprises and a very different take on this kind of edgy BDSM...A sexy kinky romance must read!

Who is this author and why have I not read her books before? DEGREES OF CONTROL is a light BDSM romance with character development and a fabulous romance. The kinky parts are quite hawt. Charlie Bell is a transplant to the States from Down Under. She is not a flower child per se, but she is carefree and vegan. When the reason for her adventures in the States come to a heartbreaking halt, she gets drunk with her girlfriends and shares her sexual fantasies. Lucky for Charlie, she has good friends. One hawt kinky no strings attached man meat coming up! Sophia is friend who can bring forth thirty plus eligible men at the drop of a hat. She reluctantly also includes her slutty cousin, James Hunter. Former model now businessman, James goes through women like fast food. He likes them cheap and easy.

This story is character driven and I loved the characters. Charlie is a fabulous sweetheart. She does what she loves and she is blessed with good friends and a loving family. She just needs a little bit of help in her sex life. Charlie is cute because she looks young and innocent. She is a bit bohemian, and her sexual desires is more in line with a ferocious tiger. She enjoys rough body play, spankings, a bit of humiliation and role playing. Her rebound sex with James delivers all of this and more.

James is a player who comes across as shallow. As he gets to know Charlie, the reader sees a different side to James. What I really enjoyed is how the two of the communicated. Even when James was an idiot, Charlie did not respond in kind. She is direct and gracious with her views. This type of communication is rare and usually associated with self-actualized people who are comfortable in their own skin. This is what makes Charlie so adorable. James' fumbling confusion is annoying yet endearing when his past is revealed.

The sex in this story is hawt. The role playing is smoking and well described. Each sexual scene between these two are arousing. What I like is that Ms. Dangerfield didn't push this as a BDSM story or a BDSM 101. Instead, she incorporates the sexual desires as part of the character in a natural manner. These are not taken too seriously nor are they completely disregarded. This simple acceptance is so good to see. The erotic power exchange between James and Charlie is fluid and effortless. There are no big struggles or fights to see who is the top and who is the brat. Instead, these are two consenting adults enjoying the mutual pleasures they share. Beautiful.

The writing style and pace to this story are all well done. There are natural ebbs and flows between the two characters. There is enough time between the spectacular sex. What is really nice is how Ms. Dangerfield demonstrates how a physical relationship brings forth an intimacy which brings the two characters closer. The descriptions of the locations are good. I could visualize the shanty town where Charlie lived compared to her friends' mansions and James' luxurious home. This is a lovely erotic novel recommended for kinky readers who love romance and role-playing.

I was supposed to review this yesterday but I couldn't help it. I read it again and just finished. IT STILL HURTS A SECOND TIME.

I COULDN'T GET ENOUGH OF THIS! My own damn sub butterflies were fluttering to the surface every time James decided to issue an order to his dirty little- *cough* -yoga teacher. I loved Charlie aka Charlotte Bell and the way she was. Despite her hang-ups, she was so chill and adorable, smart and domineering in the things she deemed important. She was smooth and sweet, sexy and submissive, but most of all, her heart was a touch away from heavenly. It's what she does to James, the dark-touched and extremely hot corporate, that makes this story amazingly beautiful.

The story started off interesting enough with her looking for a good 'him', and when they connect, chemistry is obvious. It's the after stuff that entertained me to no end, showing that there is no such thing as 'just sex', especially with chemistry that intense. The sex scenes more than met the expectation; they blew me away. It was so good, I got cross eyed during their first encounter. I won't even mention the rest.

I love exploring the more secluded areas of sex, so reading this was just a dream come true. Who doesn't love learning? lol I also loved the psychological side to this, thinking what's right, what isn't, what matters, what doesn't. Charlie and James were really hot and cute with their 'relationship'. And OMG but her friends!!!! Hayley and Holly are my favorite aggressive horn dogs; Sophia is my favorite strong woman who takes no s***; Jordan is my favorite I-Will-Cut-You-With-My-Sophistication-And-Actual-Blade gal. They were so supportive and helpful, telling her what she needed to hear, comforting her and still sticking to their true thoughts and feelings. I WANT FRIENDS LIKE THAT *winces* I have friends, they're just not as nice *sighs* I loved how real their conversations were, how deep it went even when it was casual meet-ups. It's my second favorite thing in this.

I'm so glad this found its way into my life because it's forever a hardcore favorite. You won't hear the word 'Red' from these lips. Ever.
